Who we are
Todds Fun is a comedy site at http://toddsfun.com. We run jokes, clips, desks, and fan bits. We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers. Not to brokers. Not ever.

What we collect
Only what you give us or what WordPress needs to run:

  • Comments: the fields on the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user-agent, so we can catch spam.
  • Fan submissions: name, email, and the bit you send. Those sit as Pending until Todd approves or deletes them.
  • Accounts (if you have one): what you put in your profile.
  • Password reset: if you ask for a reset, your IP may appear in that email.

We do not run a side business on your information.

Comments and Gravatar
An anonymized hash of your comment email may go to Gravatar to see if you have an avatar. After a comment is approved, that picture can show next to it.

Media
If you upload images, strip location data (EXIF GPS) first. Anyone who downloads the file can read that data if you leave it in.

Cookies

  • Comment cookies (name, email, site) if you opt in — up to one year, so you don’t retype them.
  • A temporary cookie on the login page to see if your browser takes cookies. No personal data. It dies when you close the browser.
  • Login cookies (two days, or two weeks with “Remember Me”) and screen-option cookies (one year). Logging out clears login cookies.
  • If you edit a post, a one-day cookie stores that post ID. No personal data.

Embedded content
Posts may embed YouTube, Vimeo, and similar. That content behaves as if you visited their site. They may set cookies and track you under their policies. We don’t control that, and we don’t sell anything they collect either.

Who we share with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Not ever.
The only extra hop is ordinary hosting/email (so the site and reset mail can exist) and optional spam checks on comments. Password-reset mail may include your IP.

How long we keep it
Comments and their metadata stay so we can recognize follow-ups. User profiles stay until you or an admin change or delete them (usernames can’t be changed). Fan submissions we decline are deleted; approved ones stay as published posts unless you ask us to pull them.

Your rights
If you have an account or have left a comment, you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, or ask us to erase it, except what we must keep for security or the law. Email the address on this site.

Where data goes
Visitor comments may be checked by an automated spam service. Hosting is in the ordinary web stack for this WordPress site.

Kids
This is a general comedy site. Don’t submit a child’s personal information.

Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page. The site address stays http://toddsfun.com.
